![]() ![]() Did you check the FF plug-ins for the SWF vs 10.0.45.2 to see if it's installed? Time will tell.Ĭliff, did you get Flash Player installed? Another poster did install FP with FF, but can't get the SWF plug-in. However, several threads are having very similar problems with FF and FP. I have not reached any conclusion yet, but I am seeing enough that there may be some glitch with vs 3.6. I am reading on a site that has 1,000 search results (I searched for "version 3.6 problems") By the wayįor those that have Win7 and are having problems with FF and FP, users with Win7 and FF are having other problems not related to FP. Many users are upset and want to go back to the previous version. That I can't remember since I don't use FF. The complaints are various, bookmarks, Java, Norton, personas, and others This only came out of beta not too long ago. There are quite a few complaints about this FF 3.6 version. Hi cliff, I have been reading for the last hour and a half. ![]() So for now, I've got the updated Flash Player working in IE, but the Firefoxe plugin install routine is definitely (and consistently) broken on Win 7 Home Premium.Īnd there's no way to "revert" to the prior plugin, so don't consider this issue solved until the install process works on our systems. (Every time you retry, it appends a number to the end of the file name, so the first post above indicates that the error message was generated on the fourth attempt.) The process downloads FP_PL_PFS_INSTALLER.exe into my temp directory, but it dies with the above mentioned "The specifiied procedure could not be found" error. (Remember, this is all 32-bit stuff here. It work just fine in IE, but Firefox sends me off to another Adobe page that shows a Lego icon to click to download the Firefox plugin. (Adobe pages that won't load a second time in Firefox can be loaded after restarting the browser, which indicates the Adobe Web folks have some things issues to correct as well.) I went through all the usual difficulties with Adobe dowload manager, getting the special Uninstall Flash application downloaded and running, then doing a manual download and install of FlashPlayer 10.0.45.2, which Adobe shows as the correct version to run. However, this afternoon I got a message saying I needed to update it. And Flash Player was working just fine this morning. I am also running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit, but I'm also running 32-bit Firefox. I encountered exactly the same error today. ![]()
